Position Overview:
The Strategic Senior Human Resources Generalist is a key partner in advancing people strategies that drive business success. This high-impact role serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, championing performance, engagement, development, and compliance. With strong business acumen and a hands-on approach, the Sr. HR Generalist leads enterprise-wide HR initiatives, mentors HR team members, and fosters a culture grounded in the company's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Leadership & Team Development
- Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and development to HR team members.
- Guide leaders and employees across the organization on HR best practices, employee relations, and professional growth.
- Act as a role model of integrity and discretion, fostering a culture of trust, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Strategic HR Initiatives
- Design, implement, and manage HR programs that align with business goals, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Partner with leaders to drive talent strategies that support workforce capability, culture, and operational excellence.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Oversee recruitment efforts and talent outreach strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Champion an exceptional candidate and new hire experience from recruitment through onboarding.
Total Rewards & Benefits
- Evaluate and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs using relevant data and market benchmarks.
- Support the reward strategy by ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry trends.
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Lead initiatives to enhance team member engagement, recognition, and retention.
- Design and support programs that promote connection, motivation, and meaningful work.
Compliance & Employee Relations
- Manage the employee relations function, including investigations, documentation, and resolution of workplace concerns.
- Proactively identify and address trends while ensuring adherence to employment laws and internal policies.
Technology & Data-Driven HR
- Leverage HR systems and data analytics to improve processes, inform decisions, and measure success.
- Collaborate on process automation and optimization to enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in an individual contributor role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or coaching capacity.
- Experience in recruitment, talent outreach, and training delivery to large groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 5% of the time.
